The document is applicable to the sampling of probes of gas- or aerosolbound radioactive materials in the air. This means the sampling of probes of gas- or aerosolbound radioactive materials inplants or installations where not sealed radioactive materials are handled in the sense of the German Radiation Protection Order. This includes the sampling of probes of exhaust air out of rooms and elsewhere. The standard is also applicable to the sampling of probes of other gases and gas mixtures.
