1.1 These requirements cover factory fabricated, pre-engineered aboveground atmospheric tank systems intended for dispensing flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline or diesel fuel, into motor vehicles, generators, or aircraft. 1.2 Deleted November 13, 2000. 1.3 Tank systems include the primary tank, integral secondary containment, integral supports and the necessary core components that allow the system to function as intended and in accordance with the installation requirements. 1.4 Tank systems are evaluated for installation and use in accordance with one or more of the following model fire codes: Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code, NFPA 30; the Automotive and Marine Service Station Code, NFPA 30A; Standard for Installation and Use of Stationary Combustible Engines and Gas Turbines, NFPA 37; Standard for the Storage of Flammable and Combustible Liquids at Farms and Isolated Sites, NFPA 395; Standard for Aircraft Fuel Servicing, NFPA 407; and the Uniform Fire Code. 1.5
