Covers safety requirements for electrically powered hobby and sports equipment for the home entertainment and amusement of adults, rated 250 volts or less, and intended for use in ordinary locations in accordance with ANSI/NFPA 70-1981, National Electrical Code. This standard does not cover toys and games intended to be used by children, nor does it cover amusement machines, photographic equipment, or other products that are covered by separate requirements.
