1.1 This Outline covers recovery/reuse equipment for a specific refrigerant other than R12 or R134a. The
specific refrigerants include EPA SNAP accepted automotive refrigerants. This Outline covers
recovery/reuse equipment for a refrigerant that has been directly removed from a mobile air-conditioning
system and is intended for reuse in the same mobile air-conditioning system or in a mobile air-conditioning
system that is under the control and direction of the same owner (such as a fleet).
1.2 This Outline applies to equipment used to service automobiles, light trucks, and other vehicles with
similar mobile air-conditioning systems.
